RACAP launches shoe program

RACAP, the Randolph Area Christian Assistance Program, is about to launch its annual Back To School Shoe Program, in an attempt to get brand new shoes on the feet of needy children in time for the Aug. 22 start of a new school year.

RACAP is able to order one-time use gift cards with a set amount for each child whose family qualifies for assistance. Applications for assistance can be filled out and turned in beginning July 11. Jessie Fisher, RACAP program director, asks that any Metrocom residents contact RACAP at 658-1613 if they know of a family in need of such assistance.
